About Alex

Joining the R. Adams family in early 2024, but certainly no stranger to the roofing industry, Alex manages the day-to-day operations of R. Adams Exteriors, our residential arm, as well as assists with business development and customer relations for R. Adams Roofing.

“I have been fortunate to be able to work on every side of the roofing industry. I spent five years as Territory Manager of Indiana for a national shingle manufacturer. I worked in the distribution side, as well as owned my own roofing company for five years.”

When he finally climbs down off the roof, Alex and his wife encourage their two wonderful boys in their various sporting events. Spare time is spent enjoying live music, comedy and sports, as well as communing with nature.

Alex holds a degree in Business from the University of Southern Indiana.

About Beth

Beth joined R. Adams in 2011. No stranger to changing hats multiple times a day, she coordinates Service work order entry, invoicing and accounts receivables, human resources responsibilities, office management duties, special projects and other miscellaneous tasks.

Prior to her current position, Beth spent many years in the Indianapolis television market in Community Affairs, serving as Executive Assistant to several station General Managers and WXIN Human Resources Manager. She also spent ten years in Broadcast Sales. Outside of Indianapolis, Beth held the position of Executive Assistant to the President of University Hospital Consortium (UHC) in Oak Brook, IL.

Aside from running a successful roofing company (we all know who runs the show), Beth enjoys getting her hands dirty in her garden, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Beth earned an Associate Degree from Saint Mary of the Woods College.

About Charles

Having gained experience with another roofing company, Charles hired on with R. Adams in the Fall of 2015. Working up through the ranks as a Service Foreman and Service Logistics Manager before settling into his current role, he credits his experience in the field as giving him the tools necessary to be an effective leader. He gained a vital understanding of day-to-day operations and the value of each member of the team.

Charles, his wife, and two sons enjoy outdoor activities, including kayaking, fishing, hunting, and riding ATVs. He also coaches youth soccer and wrestling, and when time allows, the whole family ventures down to their cabin in Kentucky.

Charles is currently enrolled in the Future Executive Institute and previously completed the Leadership Development Academy through the Indiana Subcontractors Association.

About Chuck

After serving for eight years in the U.S. Navy, Chuck began a career in the roofing industry, serving as Technical Representative, Sales Service Estimator and Lead Estimator for various other roofing companies before bringing his considerable skills to R. Adams in mid 2022. As Director of Estimating, he reviews and estimates both production and service projects. When the need arises, he also supports his teammates on field projects.

An avid deer hunter, when Chuck isn’t estimating roofing jobs, he’s estimating proper fuel to air ratios in his backyard smoker to cook the perfect venison roast. He also enjoys spending time with his family who, no doubt, enjoy the fruits of his hobbies.

Chuck attained a 2-year OSHA and Safety degree from Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach.

About Clay

Managing expectations is one of the most important aspects of gaining and retaining clients. Clay starts the process by providing both scope of work and financial information for roofing systems.

Working as a supervisor at a Sturbucks, Clay honed his leadership skills, ensuring processes were followed in a healthy manner; skills that perfectly align to his customer focused position at R. Adams.

Enjoying an active lifestyle, You might find Clay scaling rock faces at gyms around Indianapolis or flying drones.

Clay attended IUPUI and University of Phoenix.

About Javid

Javid joined the R. Adams Service Team in early 2023. Dealing primarily with smaller repairs, Javid handles the scheduling of all roof leaks and small scopes of work within the Service Department. She serves as a conduit between the service foremen and the customer or vendor to ensure all necessary supplies and resources arrive at the jobsite to perform the service with quality and safety.

Prior to her position with R. Adams, Javid worked as an Office Manager and Service Coordinator for Interstate Utility Trailer, as well as Office Manager and Title Specialist at Valley Motor Enterprises, Inc.

When she can squeeze some free time out of her hectic schedule, Javid prefers to spend it outside; “kayaking with my older children, hiking by myself, floating in the pool with the grandchildren, or watching my youngest play softball.”

Javid studied Computer Programming at Ivy Tech Community College.

About Libby

Libby is one of the newest members of the R. Adams family, having joined the team in early 2023. She hit the ground running in her responsibilities of recording, computing, and classification of revenue and expense data for the entire company.

Prior to joining R. Adams, Libby held the position of Accounting Supervisor for a robot automation company, leading a team of three. Before that, she worked for Nexstar Media Group, acting as a liaison for 4 US markets’ commercial placements.

When she isn’t crunching numbers, Libby enjoys time with family, traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite pastime is researching true history and Apocryphal texts along with other ancient manuscripts.

Libby holds an Associate of Applied Science with Ivy Tech where she minored in managerial accounting.

About Troy

Troy joined the R. Adams family in early 2023, after over 25 years of operational experience with public and private organizations, including Walgreen’s, CVS Health, and Banfield Pet Hospital. During that time, he navigated various responsibilities from single unit manager to Regional Vice President, covering multiple states and up to +4000 employees. Now he leverages that experience toward the operational success of internal operations including financial, human resources, and operational hardware/software systems.

Troy enjoys fishing, golf, pickleball, taking drives with his wife of 26 years exploring state parks and local historic sights, and spending time with their three children.

Troy earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Indiana State University.
